Every year we choose a different cause and charity to support. As our club grows, so do the many requests for charities to support. While each cause is equally worthy and important, we can only choose one. Please see below for the MHWTC charity guidelines:
Charity Request Guidelines
- Charity must have a 501(c) 3 tax exempt status with the IRS
- Disease/cause has impacted MHWTC member or family member
- Member requesting charity must be willing to donate their time to planning and running fundraising events. If the member is not able due to an illness or family obligation, then another member may take their place
- Charity requests must be submitted via email no later than September 15, 2012
The charity chosen for the 2013 triathlon season will be announced at the MHWTC end of year party in early fall. If your charity is not chosen for 2013, we will keep your request on file for the following year.
